Refund issues. Please help!

Long story short. I paid in full for a soft play party. This company have now sold their stock, made their staff redundant and are no longer communicating with me. I’ve tried all methods of communication. My bank needs proof they have gone bust to get my money back. As they still have a nursery open which is financially linked to them on site, on companies house they still say it’s an active company yet the part I paid for (soft play party) is closed. How can I get my money back?

If the company haven't been liquidated or closed they are liable for debts. The bank won't refund. I've just spent 3 months dealing with a refund for my parents.

You will need to take the company to small claims by the sound of it.
