Booked a test today - Sunday 13th

Has anyone actually been able to book a test today? I’m in the south east and wondered if there aren’t many available because it is a lower case area? I’m failing miserably ☹️

I’m trying to but I’m in London.. can’t get one have been refreshing for the last hour. Have read on other threads more are released at 8pm.

My friend who lives near me got one straight away the other day she said loads came up

I phoned the helpline earlier to chase up results from last week and it had an automated message saying there are currently no tests available today. Not sure if that's just Scotland though!

I've been trying solidly since Friday evening and I've still not been able to book a test. I'm in the Midlands, half an hour from Birmingham City centre.

Booked today, Manchester. I was trying since yesterday morning at no avail but this morning, after several attempts over 40 slots showed available at a nearby test center.
Keep refreshing the page, they change it every few minutes.

Yes, in the SE. Checked from around 7am, refreshed intermittently and booked at slot at 9.30 for this afternoon (just got back). There was a choice of locations and times when some slots finally appeared.Feel fortunate to have got one - good luck.

I booked one this morning- refreshed the scgreen repeatedly over a few hours - at 9.30 some slots in Chessington popped up - we booked - we were one of about 4 cars in the place! Some home tests had come up earlier, but by time I clicked through it said they were gone - seems slots are released in batches so just keep clicking til you get lucky - it really shouldn’t be like this! 😢

I’ve got one booked for 4pm today which I booked about 10:30 this morning. That was the earliest slot I could get. I’m in the East Midlands.

Try at 8 pm tonight,that is when more slots become available. It took 48 hours to finally get a slot and was about 30 miles from us in South east.

I had the page up on my mobile and ipad and kept clicking between walk in and drive through.
My mobile picked it up first at 9:30 and I got a test for this afternoon.
I tried from 7 last night and I was too late as nothing came up so I would start checking earlier. The tests all went in 5/10 mins this a.m so you really need to be on it.

I also booked a test slot this morning around 9.30, for a test this afternoon. I had heard 8am and 8pm were release times, looks like 9.30 is too from comments above (plus probably lots of other times).

Agree with advice above, repeatedly press 'find a test centre'. Also when times come up, don't select the first few as that's what everyone does, and you're likely to miss them and get sent back to the start. Choose a time slot a bit further down the list and you're more likely to be successful.

I tried at all times over a 24 hr period.. the slots in my area were released at 6pm

Dp had to book one Friday, spent all afternoon trying with no luck then at 8pm there was suddenly hundreds of slots available

Well I just refreshed and some sites came up close to me said they had slots but when I went to click said non available arghhh

I think I must have been extremely lucky. I went online at about 8.45pm last night and only had to refresh once and an appointment had been released for 8:30 this morning in a nearby town.

Pleased to report I managed to get a test at 6.40 tonight. Just another period of 5 mins random refreshing and one popped up for tomorrow 40min drive away. Very relieved to get one as I was wondering if we’d all end up isolating for 14 days because I couldn’t get one. Now just got to make sure I don’t get an inconclusive result!

Me too....I’ve been refreshing all day and managed to get a booking 20 mins away. It’s all very stressful...one child has a cough so I have to keep both off school until negative results. I wonder how many times this will have to happen.

Booked a test at 9:30 this morning in west London. They were available from 10am until 4pm and went very fast!

I managed to get a test 5 Mins ago ..for tomorrow not in my borough but 20 mins away It must be right that they release more at 8pm.

I put one letter wrong for my car reg though was trying to do it quickly so the slot didn’t go.. hope that won’t matter

Live in Portsmouth - tried to get one yesterday and Gatwick came up at 8pm. Managed to get a nearby walk in for today eventually.

I'm in north Lanarkshire and got a test appointment at Glasgow airport straight away, I must have been lucky.
