Corona test confirmation email

Just booked a test 90 miles away. However I have received no confirmation email. I'd have to leave now to make the slot. Does anyone else know how long the email takes?

Sorry I don't know the answer to your question - but hopefully you can help me! And this will also bump for you. Did you get a confirmation page when you booked? When I picked the slot and put my car reg in then pressed save and continue it went back to the coronavirus home page. Does that mean someone stole my slot whilst I was faffing? Don't want to not turn up if it went through but I had no confirmation screen come up and no email as yet.

I had this yesterday
I got all the way through to reg plate and it took me back to the start.
I was told no email no test.
Today I managed to get a slot and my email and text came instantly, I also had a confirmation page after the number plate page.

What a joke - a test 90 miles away - an utter joke.

Mine was immediate. Text and email

I got a text and an email instantly that had the code they scan. My test was 100 miles away 🤦🏼‍♀️

I've had exactly the same thing. The 'save and confirm' button (or whatever it was) took me back to the beginning. No email or text, all I have is the 'confirm your appointment' page that I printed out. If I haven't got an appointment after all this I think I may actually cry. I have been up all night trying to get one for DS1 who has high temp and cough. This world beating system is a complete joke.

It should be immediate. Check your junk folder in case it's gone there.

So with no email the test isn't actually booked??? We thought we had booked one for this afternoon...

No QR code = no test. I got to the reg plate bit on Tuesday and it took me back to the beginning, I went to the test centre and the allocated time I had booked for. I didn’t have a QR code as I had no confirmation email or text. I wasn’t tested, as no QR code = no test.
They scan the QRcode on your phone and then that allocates the test to you.
Next day I managed to book a slot, QR code was instant in email and I got a text also

If on the final screen it said “appointment booked at Xxxx
your reg plate and time”

All in green- and then your name email address and contact number it’s booked.

That's exactly what happened to me! OH managed to get a little and confirmation was 2minutes only. Unfortunately now 120miles each way! Its only petrol, money, time and the environment... this government could organise a drunken night in a distillery!
