Hi
I have had some Covid-19 symptoms. There are no home testing kits available and I don't have my own transport. I can't get to my local testing site by public transport or taxi.

How long should I isolate for? I don't feel unwell. I just want to make sure I don't pass on my symptoms to anyone else.

If you are presuming positive, 10 days.

what symptoms so you have? You isolate for 10 days if they are the covid symptoms and then can go back to normal as long as you no longer have a fever and are feeling well enough to do so

keep trying to get a postal kit sent to you - they are drip-fed into availability slowly so if it says there are none available now, there may be one available an hour or two later.
you should isolate for 2 weeks.

its 2 weeks for no symptoms after contact with a case. It's 10 days if you have symptoms

No you can't use public transport (I mean seriously...) or a taxi to get to a Covid testing station. You'll have to isolate and wait until there are home testing kits available.
