Childcare rules - Scotland

Our area has now been added to the list of areas in Scotland with restrictions...no visitors in houses. I’m trying to find out if there are any exceptions allowed. From what I can see, in England, grandparents are still allowed to offer informal childcare to grandchildren. I need to know if this is allowed in Scotland, or whether I’d be breaking the law by going to work and leaving my child with my parents. Any advice appreciated!

www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-local-measures/pages/south-lanarkshire/ this should answer your question

Well at least it is in my area and I assume it's the same in the others

Childcare by grandparents wasn't allowed in the GM lockdown. No idea about other areas.

Thank you so much everyone. Obviously wasn’t looking in the correct places! That’s a relief!
