aw this petition online looks good. If we can test kids and staff weekly with a saliva test that would help keep it safer and maybe stop school being disrupted. The tests are approved in America and have been used successfully here too in long trials. Some private schools and universities are using now. I think it’s a good idea petition.parliament.uk/petitions/550053

But ...... that's what is already planned. That's what the recently announced up-scaling of testing is based on. The Optigene LAMP assay test.

Is it though I hope so but i am not sure and when? We don’t have loads of time to waste and I think it could be a game changer

The Government should introduce saliva testing for Covid-19 in all schools in England to test pupils and staff weekly regardless of whether they show symptoms.

Who cane up with this petition the day after Boris spoken about developing mass saliva testing Hmm

The idea that random members of the public have found or noticed some easy great idea that none of the scientists or politicians or civil servants working day and night on coronavirus have already thought of is hilarious. This is Boris. Anything even vaguely plausible, never mind realistic, has already been seized upon and announced!
