Is it ok to share the school run

I'm finding juggling working from home and driving my kids to school tricky. Just wondering if anyone else is part of a carpool and if that is ok with the current safety measures?

I rang my sons school about whether he could continue to be transported by a friend and her son to school, carpool type of thing. There answer was it depended if they were in the same class bubble and if I had ‘bubbled’ with friend. Having been told this I asked about the school bus and apparently our school buses only collect class bubbles too. So I’m stuck my oldest doesn’t start back to college TIL next week after that I’m hoping my boss is as understanding as she says. 🙂

It's got nothing to do with the school.

The law allows it.

I cannot see anything wrong with it (other than driving your kids to school, but that's an entirely different complaint!)

It's no different than if they were going on a bus that isn't bubbled. Lots of kids get the normal public buses to school and mix on those. We have to function with this.
