Drive through test - no results!!!

We were tested at a drive through test centre on Wednesday afternoon and still have not received our results.

I have called 119 and they have said they can’t tell us where our results are - they are not lost - they just can’t tell us where they are! They also won’t let us book another test - and even if we were to book another test there is no local availability.

What’s others experiences on how long test results are taking? It’s a bit of a nightmare as we can’t send our daughter back to nursery until we can show them a clear test, so back to juggling work and childcare- wonderful!!

It’s such a pain atm! Luckily dd & I had a test yesterday and results at 5pm today, but I know so many people that are waiting days.

Call them at the end of tomorrow, and that will be the end of the 5 days. If not, put your postcode as one that is v close to a test centre and it should bring some up.

God knows how they’re going to manage with it being this disorganised and shite already!

Family member has one on Friday, results back in 24 hours.. guess we were lucky!

4 tests posted on Thurs, one result back tonight at 7.30pm. No other results yet!

Just an update- finials got our test results back this morning- negative. Took 6 days!!
Speaking with the 119 number it sounds like they are completely overwhelmed with schools going back

Lucky here *area of enhanced support so don't know if that makes a difference.
Had one child done Saturday at 9am email at 2am on Sunday.
Another tested on Sunday (one had high temp on friday the other started saturday night).
And again Email at 2am, had texts as well but they came through 4 hours later so make sure you check emails if anyone is still waiting.
