Postal Test Results - how long?

We sent them off on Thursday...when shall we expect a result?
Back to work on Monday, so really need them before then.

Still no result here. It’s 4 days since posting it (sent it off Thursday morning)

Posted test on Friday. No results as yet. Thankfully as I don't have any CV symptoms (was asked to do the test by the Zoe app) we aren't having to self isolate and dd isnt missing school as it would be a right pain to have to wait this long with symptoms.

FINALLY! DD got hers...negative. Apparently mine were unclear so supposed to do another test but as I don't have symptoms, I shan't bother. DH hasn't had his yet. Came through at 11.23 tonight.

We still don’t have ours, from posting on Thursday.

Should we call up today? Also do you receive them by email or text?

This may be slightly (very?) stupid q but if I had symptoms and lived alone how would I post it back if isolating - I guess the walk to a postbox is one of the permitted reasons for being out and about with symptoms ? Even if I lived with someone they too would be isolating if I had symptoms wouldn’t they ?
Apols if v stupid q - have become confused about some basics.

I live alone. My neighbours posted mine but I could hsve walked. You could also use their courier service.

Aha I wondered if there was a courier element - thanks wheres. I too live alone - last thing Id want to do would be To expose dp (who is in bubble) to me if I was symptomatic just to post something !

You get an email and text simultaneously with your result. Can be at any time of day or night though it seems!
