Colds?

DS had a cold. DD then got the sniffles and cough too. DH has sore throat and cough. No other symptoms are present. DH thinks it's just a cold and he's probably right but I keep thinking what if.
What would you do?

It sounds like a cold, but you don't know, especially if there's a cough for some. Get tested. Isolate until you get the results.

There are the three main symptoms officially stayed but I saw someone high up in NHS England say get tested if you are at all unwell.

It's really easy to order online. You'll probably get drive through slots today and results within 24hrs.

Isolate and test because of the cough.

If the cough wasn't there I wouldn't test.

If we all test for colds with none of the three main symptoms testing will be overwhelmed come autumn.

They're not coughing a lot just occasionally and my DH always coughs when he picks stuff up. I don't know but yeah I guess we should.

DH is getting a test. Fingers crossed

Just thought I'd update the thread. The test came back negative. Phew!
