Email confirmation after booking test?

Just that - I booked a test online last night for a drive-through centre today but haven't received a confirmation via email or text, should I have got one?

Was concerned the website might have chucked me off at the last minute!

Anyone? I'd rather not drive a 2 hour round trip in vain! Grin

Hmm - I got an email and a text - the email contained the barcode that they need to scan. When you got to the end of the booking, did it give you a barcode?

You definitely need the email. As pp said it includes a bar code the staff at the testing centre have to scan. I’d just rebook.

Thanks for the replies - so as suspected it didn't go through... closest test sites are hours away from here now. Absolute madness!

Keep trying, new slots are regularly released. I had to book a test for myself a few days ago and then just today had to book at test for one of my dc. First thing this morning only slots were at a test site more than 2 hours from me. 2 hours later, lots of slots opened at the one that's only a 15 minute drive away. I suspect they come online as sites open up and load up their staffing availability for the day.

But yes, you should get a text and an email confirmation, assuming to you provide your mobile number and email address. You eventually get to a green appointment booked page which should confirm the time and location.

@mindutopia The two testing centres here in Brighton were shut a week or two ago so it's going to be a bit of a drive to get a test anyway!
