What symptoms made you take a test?
We've been following guidelines, DH is a keyworker so has always worked through lockdown, we wear masks and practice social distancing etc.
I've come down with some weird symptoms over the past three day's:
Headaches, long and lasting all day and night (similar to a migraine but not as bad) paracetamol not relieving the tension.
Aches and feeling cold, generally feeling rubbish and tired. Yesterday the sore throat started.
Today, I've woke up with all of the above but with a seriously stabbing sore throat, struggling to talk. I was slightly short of breath last night, but sometimes I feel like that when I'm anxious. Propped myself up and managed to sleep fairly well. Hot and cold flashes too
DH has said I should get a test, and is confused if we should isolate?
I don't think I have a temperature but currently rooting through my meds cabinet for the thermometer to check, though I don't feel hot to touch as nhs website states
I think it's just a head cold, but DH is worried and now I'm starting to worry. Can you have covid without a temperature?
Basically asking what symptoms lead you to test? I don't want to waste resources if I have a cold but I also don't want to be negligent
