Scottish schools - other viruses

Just wondered seeing as schools have been back a few weeks in Scotland what the prevalence of viruses/illness was (not specifically COVID)

My dd seems to pick up everything going and am worried after so long out of a large group setting she'll just be ill constantly with colds etc

She's also asthmatic so has a tendency to cough with every illness which I suspect is going to lead to many tests 😬

@ChaChaCha2012 ScotGov updated guidance came out yesterday. Last week schools were texting parents of children with colds telling them to get Covid tests. That's probably why 40,000 people were tested last week, rather than a mass lack of reading comprehension.

Yep really bad colds here, lots of the school have been off. We are still getting over it a week later.
It’s not just a mild cold here though, both of mine has really bad coughs and one had a temperature so we all got tested, all negative.
Not convinced any measures school are using are going to keep Covid at bay though as it certainly wasn’t contained in bubbles!
