What is the testing method for babies please? Is it a swab up the nostril and to the back of the throat like it is for adults?

I have a 3 year old and a 18 month old- essentially yes but with the option to do 2 nostril swabs (one each nostril) and not a throat one if needed. I'm not sure how young they test or if very young babies need to be tested by medical professionals? I did my two at a drive by centre myself

I did my 8 week old at a drive through one - I was advised to do two nostril swabs, which worked.
