Coronavirus Test

Just a question about the test.

As I understand, but please correct me if I’ve got it wrong. The NHS Coronavirus test is to see if you at that time, have the virus SARS-coV-2 which is said to cause COVID 19.

If you test positive, particularly if you display no symptoms, does that mean you will definitely go on to have COVID 19 ?
I suppose what I’m wondering is with regards to SARS-coV-2, does It definitely mean the person will go onto to having COVID 19 if they don’t already or is it more a care of can?

Hope I’m making sense.

I seem to remember Idris Elba tested positive but never got any symptoms (and eventually tested negative)

I suppose I just wondered if everyone who tests positive for SARS-coV-2 actually ends up contracting Covid 19 as a result.

Would they know via an antibody test? Which does the antibody detect, SARS-coV-2 or Covid 19?
