Let's start by saying I'm not worried about catching covid. I think I have more chance of being in an accident. I don't like most of the rules and yes I have broken some, ie mixed when it wasn't allowed in the garden etc.
However.
I took my baby to the gp. Gp had mask under nose and twice put hand underneath to scratch / touch, mouth /face.
Didn't see any hand washing or sanitising,

Last week in supermarket, lots with mask under chin or nose. That's their choice. But saw 2 police officers, maybe on their lunch or whatever walking round one of which had mask dangling from one ear..

Surely GPS, police etc should set an example.
Fwiw I wear a mask because I have to, where I am actually exempt but can't deal with all the questions and frowning ( ptsd from being suffocated in a DV relationship.. I panic but do my best to try to zone out...same as high neck tops I can't deal with anything on my neck .)

Hi Op- my mum is the exact same with masks and high neck tops even scarfs for the same reasons. She doesn’t wear a mask and she also has found it to be fairly pleasant out. She is comfortable to tell people that she’s exempt, but I know for some it’s just so hard. Do know if you feel uncomfortable at any point to remove it and you don’t need to explain yourself and legally no one can demand you to a simple statement that you’re exempt is enough.

I don’t wear a mask either and have found it to be ok too.

At my local shop I was queuing outside and a paramedic had her mask swinging from her ear, rubbed her nose ALOT and then decided to play with the mask whilst it was dangling off her ear, once she was in the shop she had the cheek to complain about a staff member who was too close to her without a mask which the lady had simply forgotten. I think the fact that those in medical professions are comfortable not wearing them “correctly” shows that maybe they know they’re ineffective. I think if it was a true pandemic then they’d have to be treated like a biohazard and disposed of in a strict and safe way. Most definitely would be handled carelessly.
