Symptoms and school

The Times is reporting in Scotland test centres are swamped with children with 'sniffles' who have been told they must 'isolate the family and get tested' over cold symptoms

Our school (SW) gave us a flow chart which says about the usual ones - cough and high temp, loss of smell, and said to use that. And not the whole family, just the child to get tested (or if on contact with a confirmed case)

Just wondered what advice others have been given.

Just to update this post, Scotland is advising just to test for those specific symptoms, see
