Boarding school

Just curious really after driving past one earlier today.
Interested to hear what is happening around children going back to boarding school, especially international students.
I wonder if there’s been any situations where students have had to stay on school during lockdown and form a bubble there?

I work in one but only up to age 13. We aren't having international boarders this term. Other than that, we are operating fairly normally including flexi boarding as long as it's 2 nights a week or more (too much extra cleaning to do 1 nighters and ad hoc atm). 2 of our vulnerable boarders were offered places over lockdown but didn't take them up, unfortunately.

Local senior schools I know of:
Some are opening this week to allow international students to do their 2 week quarantine.
A couple are quarantining British boarders in house for 2 weeks too.
Some had vulnerable boarders remain over lockdown.
A couple had some international students remain over lockdown.

I have a friend who is a houseparent in one. They went back about two weeks ago and the international students are there isolating for two weeks ready for term to begin.

At my DC’s school the international boarders are being quarantined for 2 weeks prior to the start of term.
