So adult ds (20) is home for a few weeks and came down this morning complaining of feeling unwell. No temp or cough or loss of taste/smell but aches all over and just feeling rubbish. Nhs symptom checker says unlikely to be Covid-19 but ds was really worried and wanted a test. Now if it had been one of our younger sons, in the absence of the classic symptoms, I would have monitored them closely for the rest of the day, but at 20 of course he is responsible for his own health decisions. None of us had any plans for today and really hoping the results come back quickly but should we be isolating when he doesn't actually have any of the symptoms? Just to clarify nhs symptom check said unlikely to be covid, he wanted a test because he was worried and the system let him.
