Have you received a lockdown fine? If so, what for?

Just random nosey thread wondering what you have to do to incur a fine? There was an article just published about my county saying how many fines have been issued so it got me wondering. I don't know anyone who's received one?

@ProfessorPootle

My sister was reported by a neighbour to police as she was going out in her car every day during lockdown. She’s a midwife and still had to go to work. Police knocked on her door but obviously didn’t fine her. Neighbour, who regularly came out clapping for NHS, outed himself as person who had reported her, at the weekly clap! Said something along the lines of ‘you shouldn’t be clapping, you’re out and about everyday in your car, lockdown doesn’t apply to you does it?’ So she said no, she’s a midwife and women are still having babies, he shut up after that but no apology!!
Oh the irony of clapping for nhs whilst telling an nhs keyworker off for doing their job Grin

A neighbour is planning to have a party for 70 people at the weekend and another neighbour is planning to report them if it goes ahead. Will be interesting to see whether the police turn up!

My brother has just flown to Spain for the weekend. I know he will not be quarantining when he gets back, including going to visit our vulnerable parents (which he cant do even if he hadn't been to Spain due to our localised lockdown rules).
I am so tempted to report him but I probably wont

@JacobReesMogadishu

Surely fines can’t be issued for childcare when Dominic drove up north for potential childcare and we were all told that was fine. If a kid was left alone while someone went to work it would be a child welfare situation and we were told if it was for child welfare reasons you could do what you want.
After Cumgate happened and the Attorney General unwisely waded in, there were various lawyers on facebook offering to help anyone who'd been fined for using friends or family as childcare challenge it pro bono.

A neighbour had similar to @ProfessorPootle sister. He got verbal abuse from someone in the village for getting into his car on the drive.....but he’d turned his small engineering firm over to make ventilators!
