I can’t be the only one who is completely fed up of parenting now 🙈 it’s literally the same stuff every day. I’m so bored and fed up. It’s been bloody months now and I’m not sure I can take much
More arguing, cleaning and cooking. I can’t cope with the mess, it’s giving me such anxiety and the lack of routine. Fed up 😩

Yup! I hear ya! How old are your delights?

Mummypig2020 · 06/08/2020 18:00

4, 10 and 12. It’s my 10 year old that’s causing all the drama 😩

😬😬 it’s bloody tough isnt it! What’s the 10 year old doing?

Can you make your own daily routine?

So maybe get up, breakfast, outside activity, quiet time (lol) tv time, lunch time, go out somewhere, everyone does a job around the house, garden (if you have one) time, arts and crafts time, dinner, t.v, bed time- wine time!

It's hellish isn't it. We've gone from being a family who were out doing different things alot and relished all sitting together a few times a week, to now sitting down together for 14 bastarding meals a week, all planned, shopped for, cooked and cleared up by me. I'm seriously considering a Mum's day off when they can fend for themselves. I should be thrilled to see so much of my family but I'm totally fed up.

sitckmansladylove · 06/08/2020 18:18

It's like a trip to hell and back Confused but maybe we might look back in time and feel glad for this extra time with the dc.. If we have all killed each other before that

Mummypig2020 · 06/08/2020 18:23

He just talks to his sisters and me like rubbish. He argues constantly, tells me we keep bullying him etc. He’s so over dramatic with everything. Dd4 got her beads out to play with and he was screaming at her incase the cat got them 😩

Is he burning off his excess energy outside?

Could he get a punching bag?

Mummypig2020 · 06/08/2020 18:36

He’s been out playing with a friend every day for a few hours thankfully x

I hear ya. It's awful. I am fed up to the back teeth with the meals. And the bickering. And the noise. And the mess.

If schools don't reopen fully in September I will be staging a one woman riot.

TheGreatWave · 06/08/2020 20:08

It is hell and I am still trying to work in the middle of it. The 8 year old is having her pre teen stage and is harder work than the actual teenager.

Uhoh2020 · 06/08/2020 21:18

I feel your pain my 10yo has a shocking attitude at the moment, lots of answering back and moods. I wouldn't mind but I feel I've been very lenient and relaxed with him allowing him to have more freedom out with friends and more game time he's living the life of bloody Riley yet I'm on the sticky end of his sulks all the time. Anyway only 26 days 11 hours until school starts again Wink

Spinakker · 06/08/2020 21:25

Grin is it only 26 days now? That's doable!!..

Uhoh2020 · 06/08/2020 22:09

@Spinakker I feel like I'm in prison keep chalking the days off like a tally chart Grin
I hope to god they don't suspend my parole (delay school opening)
