Has anyone been able to contact Ryanair?

They're such scammers.

Are you trying to get a flight refunded? I had flights cancelled and emailed every single email address I found online. It takes about 7 days to hear back but I did get a reply. I found I had to chase up my refund regularly then last week finally received my money back. There's a Facebook page called 'Ryanair cancelled my flights' or similar and there are a lot of posts with contact information that people have managed to get responses from.

No, my husband and I are meant to go away tomorrow.

But my child who is under 2 is linked to my husbands ticket and I can't change it. My husband can't come any more.

I can't check him in - I've been trying to get a hold of Ryanair for days! I'm starting to panic now

Have you tried the live chat on their page? It can take a while to get a response but I did find them quite helpful when I eventually got through. It did take me about an hour of waiting though. That Facebook page I mentioned also has phone numbers that people have had some joy with. They are a nightmare to deal with but I hope you get sorted for tomorrow

BridgettJ · 05/08/2020 11:17

On live chat but it's been 2 hours?

You just have to wait on either the phone or online chat. I used desktop for chat rather than mobile, it worked for me after about 3 hours.
Worst case you'll just have to sort it at the airport and maybe have to pay the £25 child fee again.

BridgettJ · 05/08/2020 18:19

I've been on chat for 10 hours now.

No response.

I'm on the call... 30 mins on hold @30p a min!!!!

Is this even legal

If you are going to Italy with Ryanair you may not be. According to the German news the Italian authorities are thinking of banning them from Italian airspace for not complying with covid regulations. Well there's a big surprise. O'Leary has long thought the law doesn't apply to him.

BridgettJ · 05/08/2020 22:49

@cologne4711 oh no, really????

Just check your dh in and then he can be a no show and you take the child.

On second thoughts sometimes they cancel the return flight so I think you probably do need to speak to someone.
