Newborn Baby and Key Worker Partner

Hi everyone,

I'm 9 months and not long now until I give birth, I'm just wondering if anybody else is also due to have their baby soon and also have a key worker partner?
Even though my partner is really good with trying his best to protect me (I'm asthmatic aswell as being pregnant) I'm just worrying about my partner being around our newborn baby/in delivery suite. He also suffers with severe hay fever so is constantly sneezing/coughing which panics me also.
Does anybody else feel this way and have a similar situation? Thanks

There are different issues to unpick
You are pg

He’s a keyworker, is he front line?what environment is he working in? What routine does he have when returning home?
Does his work offer antibody test?

DP has hay fever, you don’t like him sneezing. Does he take medication, antihistamine? I know everyone is sensitised to sneezing & coughs at the mo, but if he doesn’t have covid it’s not a transmission risk

You’re pg, understandably you’re worried
