I had a sore throat on Sunday and have had an upset tummy since Monday very watery stools and mild abdominal discomfort.
Has anyone had these symptoms and been tested positive for Covid?

I wouldn't automatically think Covid, but it could be so limit contact for the next 48hrs and see how it progresses.

I’ve had this recently. Pretty sure it isn’t COVID. Sore throat, diarrhoea, feeling achy. But no cough, no temp, no loss of taste or smell.

There are still lots of other bugs doing the rounds.

Are the cases in your area high? If so I would get tested. Six types of covid presentations have been identified and there is a gastro one presenting with diarrhoea. It’s not as well publicised as the cough, fever loss of smell/taste but it’s not unknown.

Very early on (in Wuhan) they found evidence of covid in stool samples.

Here’s an article on the six types of Covid theory

www.kcl.ac.uk/news/six-distinct-types-of-covid-19-identified

Symptoms of the gastro one: “headache, loss of smell, loss of appetite, diarrhoea, sore throat, chest pain, no cough“

So in your shoes, I’d get tested

Both those symptoms can be Covid symptoms, so worth getting tested.

Lindy2 · 31/07/2020 19:18

If you were part of the Zoe Covid symptom tracker research you would be asked to get tested with those symptoms.

I'd recommend you get tested. It's the only way to know for sure. That way you'll know whether you need to isolate and warn anyone you've been in touch with, or whether you can just carry on as normal when you feel better. It is better to know for sure isn't it rather than to just keep wondering?

We are pretty certain teen ds had Covid at end of March, he was going to work in London so was using public transport, he was very sick for 13 days. He became sick on the Monday night and that weekend i had a sore throat, headache, bit of a tight chest and a bit of an upset stomach, i wonder if it was possibly Covid.
