Where do I find Lockdown postponements specifics pretty please.......

Am starting this thread because I'm pretty much on my last nerve right now and will no doubt have to field my DPs angst later when he gets back from the wok he's been allowed back to do for just three weeks.

Long story short, he's a body piercer (well established) and has been able to do any piercings other than those involving mucous membranes for obvious and sensible reasons.

They have been following the guidelines given to the beauty industry in general, and have been banking on the further easing of things like facials / eyebrow threading (side note - how is a beard trim - allowed -less dangerous than eyebrow threading - not allowed? Just curious)

If the studio remains restricted as to which piercings can be done then obviously it's having a knock on effect bookings wise and I'm just dreading the mood he's going to be in.

We're financially fucked every which way from Sunday and just about holding it together but the stress is having a massive effect.

So basic question - where do I find the official new guidelines and whether this will be another setback.

Thank you both - much appreciated and sorry to hear you are also negatively affected @relievedlady - it's just becoming so demoralising all round .....

DP has just rung to say yes, restrictions carry on as normal with no change for at least two weeks - he had a full day of nose piercings booked for tomorrow so they all have to be re-booked for a fortnights time and he'll be twiddling his thumbs tomorrow unless they can get other bookings in today...... really feel for the admin team at his studio......

But he didn't sound too ballistic so fingers crossed he'll be ok by hometime.....

You sound anxious about how your DH might take out his stress on you. Are you doing ok?

We're muddling through and it's not without its moments lol but overall I'm hanging in there and we are basically solid - lost my Mum at the end of April (cancer - nursed her at home till the end) and that' taken its toll, plus my retail shop has gone tits up and I'm trying to field that too....it is what it is, but I am really touched by your concern and trust me if it gets too hectic I'll be howling anonymously here while doing the calm swan frabtically paddling underneath in real life - sometimes MN is just the valve I need so i'm grateful it exists .....
