Future lockdowns

How likely do you think there will be one/ones even as early as this
winter given the following evidence;

  1. The govt has admitted there would have been fewer cases
if lockdown had started even a week or two earlier
  1. Track and trace not working as well as expected
  2. Testing not that good either as a test is only valid on day taken

Yes I think there will be future lockdowns until there is a vaccine.

Highly likely but boris has handed the power to lockdown to local authorities so he doesnt get the blame if it isn't done early enough.

Even Japan, Singapore & HongKong have had rolling restrictions raised & lowered repeatedly. Why wouldn't that happen in UK, too?
