Deaths in the single figures today

According to the worldometer the UK has only recorded 7 deaths today. I know there's generally a dip after the weekend but still going off previous Monday's reported figures we are heading in the right direction.

No, the number of daily cases is creeping up. Went from 1000 a day to as low as 400, but over the last few weeks crept up to 740 odd a day. Dont be fooled by the deaths, that's deaths from people who caught it over 21 days ago.

Whether cases are genuinely increasing overall or whether the change in testing emphasis in hotspots is catching more mild/asymptomatic cases remains to be seen.

685 cases today so down a bit on the last few days.

The daily cases aren't creeping up, they're pretty much stagnant. Deaths are not increasing which is good.
