Listening to abuse

I'm staying at my mum's due to health issues, I come up to bed fairly early most evenings. With it being summer all the windows are open & every night I have been hearing a male voice yelling abuse at his wife or partner, it's been really bad this weekend & tonight since 7.00pm he hasn't stopped yelling & bawling at her. As someone who was in an abusive marriage I really feel for her, I don't want to get involved as my mum has to live here, has anyone got any suggestions? I don't want to ring the police as I would have to identify myself.

You don’t have to identify yourself. Call the police. Tonight.

I rang the police for a domestic the other week and I wasn't asked my name.
