I have read that a rash can be a symptom of covid.

My mum has come up in a rash today, no other symptoms. Not sure what we should do.

Should she be tested?

It isn't on the governments official list but it has been flagged as a common symptom. I was advised by my gp to get a covid test last week for my sons nasty viral rash. It can't hurt to do a test imo

Info from the Zoe app people about skin rashes and Covid. I would say based on this that your Mum should get tested even though skin rash is not on the government's (ridiculously narrow) list of symptoms.
