How confident are you that you would ‘beat’ coronavirus if you got it?

And if you are not confident...what steps have you taken in the last 4 months to strengthen your immune system?

@iVampire
It only gets dispiriting when I read comments about how those who have to shield we’re going to die soon anyway

I agree with what you wrote here, I find these type of comments absolutely repugnant tbh. I think a fair few people are struggling to retain their humanity during the pandemic.

There was a letter by a nurse who said even where people's lives would perhaps have been short without covid (maybe had a terminal diagnosis) they would have had better end of life and death experiences in normal times.

But many of those shielding would look forward to decades of happy life. This 'underlying conditions' is encouraging a worrying callousness. People need to think carefully about how we want to weigh a life.

Pretty sure I'll be fine & I take 3 Immunosuppressants. But I get no more unwell than anyone else I know

But what sort of a question is this? One paper cut and you could in theory end up with sepsis. So unless you have the benefit of seeing the future you couldn't possibly know.

Whilst in general I am confident I would survive I have a fit healthy friend in their 30's who has been suffering chronic fatigue since they had it in March. I don't think anyone can predict whether they would be one of the healthy people with long-term side effects.
