Are there now less testing sites again?

We had 3 all around 10-15 miles away. Now the nearest is 70ish (90 min drive).

Slight improvement to 50 miles away (1 hours drive each way) today. Wondering what’s happened to the local ones.

Probably been shut down due to the lack of demand.

Fewer.

But yes, after all the reports of the testing sites being empty and with numbers continuing to fall, it would make sense to shut down some sites.

I’m surprised that we would be expected to travel that far & we aren’t the furthest away. Particularly since we had so many much closer ones.

We've had a new one open on Merseyside and three mobile units because there's been a spike across three areas.

Finally found a list of mobile sites. The area close to me are getting one on 27/28th.

Also the ordering of a test is so efficient, so people might not be choosing to use test centres.
