Self isolation advice

We were all ill in March with Corona symptoms but we were not tested. We self isolated for 3 weeks. DH has always wfh and I am a SAHM so it was not a problem for us.
Yesterday my eldest who is 4 has started coughing constantly. He is too young for a test. So we need to self isolate again for 2 weeks?

NHS will not test under 5s

Only too young for a test if you're in Scotland as for some reason that's only for children over 5. Elsewhere there is no minimum age

In that case I think you need to isolate again for 14 days. What a pain.
