Why don't we post about the shops we visit where the experience has been positive for those who are exempt from wearing masks or who need help to communicate?
where the staff are welcoming eg the sunflower lanyard to raise awareness of hidden disabilities and therefore mask exemption?
Which shops have staff wearing visors (not masks) or are behind screens? I think this would help those posters who need to lip read (but who are able to wear masks themselves before I get flamed)?
And also the shops that don't demand an exemption letter (which GPs refuse to provide because no one should be asked to prove disability)?
And the shops that allow customers to wear visors (to help those who can't wear a mask)?
If we could all maybe share our positive experiences for those who have eg hidden disabilities, this could be really helpful!
This is a positive thread, no flaming please, remember not all disabilities are visible and don't assume everyone who doesn't wear a mask is faking it.
I have multiple hidden disabilities myself.
