Rash in CV19

Has anyone had a rash with COVID? I have got what is now a widespread itchy rash on my arms, legs and chest. It started on the backs of my elbows around 10 days ago and I assumed it was a type of eczema as I had similar a couple of times before. Had been treating it with hydrocotisone cream and aqeous cream but it continued spreading. At this point I felt totally fine in myself, no temp or other symptoms. As it was super itchy and kept spreading down my arms I rang GP 2 days ago. Could only get a telephone appointment for next Monday so booked that.
Today I have woken up and it has spread to my legs and chest and I feel generally unwell, un a sory of non specific way. Still no temp or cough or change in smal or taste.
Out of curiosity I googled coronavirus and rash to see that in the last couple of days a new study has suggested this type of rach could be an early indicator of CV19 and they are advising government to add it the list of possible symptoms Shock news.sky.com/story/coronavirus-skin-rash-can-be-only-covid-19-symptom-and-should-be-fourth-key-sign-study-finds-12029116
I have now got a test booked for this afternoon and have booked my husband one as well.
I have been into work over past 2 weeks, but with strict social distancing and PPE (NHS) but I havent really been anywahere else.
I have let work know and am obvioulsy now off sick but I am panicking I could have had it for 10 days without knowing and may have spread it. Also concerned that if I have had it for 10 days test may be negative so not sure that I would do then?
Anyone else had a rash as an early or only symptom?

My 4 year old is absolutely covered in a viral rash now. I had a telephone appointment a few days ago with the GP and he told me to order a covid test because its a common sign. He was negative though

Jrobhatch poor dc, hope they feel better soon. It is tricky because the test can be negative for a lot of reasons so hard to totally rule it out.

I am not convinced tbh. I felt rotten last week and the factory my partner works in has had positive cases the past week and a fair few sent home by track and trace

Hi, yes it is a common symptom. Other countries name a longer list of symptoms than we do!

just to update, as predicted my test was negative. The rash is now over my whole body and today I have been in bed all day feeling shocking, although still no cough or temp. Absolutely no idea what is going on. Sad Have telephone app with GP on Monday.
