Playgroups

Has anyone heard when playgroups or baby groups might be re-starting? I haven’t heard or read anything.

Anyone?

A local one to me is planning to reopen in September, as announced on their Facebook page.
I am not sure how it can work to be honest!

@Yetiyoga I guess similar to nurseries.

I'm hoping September but not holding out much hope. With the current restrictions they would have to seriously limit numbers, probably people would have to pre book and there would be a lot more cleaning going on. The play groups I attend are all run by volunteers and i dont know if they would want to do all that.

If they decided to go the same route as Scotland and say that under 12s dont have to social distance that would make it far easier.

I really hope our children’s centre ones go ahead. They are run by paid EYFS workers.
Not sure about the volunteer run ones. We’ll see. Hoping so.
