Comfortable mask for 9 year old with big head

Sorry if this has been asked before but could anyone recommend a comfortable face covering for my DS. He's 9 and has a big head I think so the kids masks are too small and the adult masks are too big! He also has issues with uncomfortable clothes so it needs to be as comfy and soft as possible. I've already spent a fortune on ones that aren't suitable so thought I'd ask here. Thanks

Adult mask with a paper clip/ 2” bit of material with a button at each end at your back of his head to put the ear straps round rather than over his ears?

Go for an adult with an air filter to help him breathe.

Elle are making soft masks. The adult size is a little big on my 9 year old. It sits nicely on her ears, but is a little baggy on the sides of her face

Some of the sellers on eBay or Etsy etc will make them to size. Or some of them do teen or petite adult sizes.
