This is being reported over various sources this morning.

"Unknown pneumonia' said to be deadlier than coronavirus is sweeping across Kazakhstan, Chinese embassy says"

Looks like usual DM scaremongering, thought it was commonly assumed that the more extreme reactions to Covid-19 produce viral pneumonia, this can persist once Covid-19 virus is no longer detectable in your body. Too much hearsay in this to be a news article to take seriously at the moment.

Doctors in the country think this is Covid but faulty testing isn’t picking it up

Stop spreading unsubstantiated rumous Hmm

CNN reported on it.

Let’s hope it really is just undiagnosed covid.

What's more likely.

That a second type of pneumonia, undetected elsewhere, is suddenly sweeping Kazakhstan and not affecting other countries.

Or, that the virus which has brought the world to a grinding halt is affecting people in Kazakhstan too?

Come on people, bit of critical thinking here.
