Train travel

Do you think it would be bonkers for me to go and visit my family now at a holiday place when it will involve a bus and two trains to get there? I'm torn as I basically haven't left my area this whole time and now I've got the fear. We would obv follow all guidelines-masks, take hand sanitizer, etickets, avoid peak times etc. The main reason I'm worried is that one of my relatives is not in good health and we think she may be vulnerable even though her conditions are not officially listed as such. So if I travel to her is that a massive risk of bringing all the train germs her way?

How have other ppl found rail travel generally?

If you avoid peak times, it's still fairly quiet round my way, South East.

Yes I'd go, during a quiet / off peak time of day.
