Worldometer projections for the UK

Has anyone else noticed the worldometer projections for UK deaths have changed significantly since the relaxation of restrictions last week?

The deaths are now predicted to be back up to 800 a day by november with a second peak in cases surpassing the first one.

The graphs do however show that this can be avoided if mask wearing is made compulsory.

It won't be allowed to get that high again. Pubs and cafes can be closed again if necessary.

Yes, however it would be so much better for the economy and peoples health just to mandate the wearing of face masks in indoor public places.

It's their standard modelling, you'll find similar for all countries that don't make masks mandatory. They don't have any special new information.

That's such a stark difference from wearing masks. Why on earth haven't they been made mandatory? It makes no sense.

Is it based on the schools going back in sept?
As if so would be much more sensible to have pt school for all for the winter rather than everyone back for 6w!
Plus obviously everyone could wear a mask in enclosed spaces.
Imo the peak could be even higher as they know being ill with anything else at the same time makes you more likely to die.
