So pubs are following guide lines but who’s comfortable going to them?

My DS has been to a couple of local pubs and said they were really empty. I had previously thought I would only be comfortable in a beer garden but I'm now considering that I may brave indoors

I haven't yet but only because I don't like taking DS to pubs and I'm divorced from his dad so I don't get much child free time. I'd happily go if I had the opportunity.

I’ve been to several and suffice to say that not all of them are filming guidelines and not all of them are empty.

Pubs are usually quiet through the week anyway and I think the weather/uneasiness put a lot of people off on Saturday. Obviously some always busier than others but many are going to be quiet.

Beer gardens/outside areas will be full when the weather picks up.

Been to several. Had a great time in each one. Some been stricter on guidelines but all been very welcoming and felt safe in all.

If you normally like a trip to your local get out and enjoy yourself. It's been great to meet friends. To be honest with some of the apps and ordering you might enjoy it more than before.

I was never a big pub goer but am going to lunch this week with a friend and we have booked. We get a 90 minute slot. Really looking forward to it much more than I would have looked forward to a pub lunch previously. If there was anything decent on at the cinema, I'd go and see a film too. I will follow all rules & guidelines but am not yet back at work as my sector is not open so want to get out a bit.

Ended up in one this morning for a coffee totally unplanned. Late morning. Only one other couple in. Sanitise hands and write down details on entry. One way system, stay away from others, must be sat at all times unless you go to pee.

DH and I visited our local with the nippers yesterday to say welcome back and show some support. It was quiet as it was Monday afternoon, bit strange table service, one-way system, but nice to show our faces and say hello to a couple of people. Won't be going when it's busy but it was nice made a change.

I went to one yesterday and it was fine but it was lunchtime and quiet. Had to register my visit and give them my details in case of an outbreak and sanitize my hands before going in. Was shown to a table, given a menu and I went to the bar to order. They bought the drinks and food over and that was it really. Felt comfortable and was desperately glad to be doing something normal again.
