Can’t get a dentist appointment for dd4 until October!

Dd is suffering with toothache. Iv just rang and they said they aren’t seeing normal patients until
October!! Iv just booked an appointment for the 21st October ffs!

How is that ok?!

Look up emergency dentist and your health authority or trust .
It should give information on who to call which should be quick enough than 111

Definitely call back and say that she’s in pain

Most dentists are working through a backlog of lost fillings broken teeth and other urgent things that weren’t addressed during the lockdown
At both of my practices children aren’t being booked until September at least for normal checkups so that might by why there’s a delay
However if the child is in pain that needs addressing now
