Should I test?

I've had a blocked nose and a slightly sore throat since yesterday.

No other symptoms, not coughing no fever, taste and smell fine.

Should I test? I know that symptoms are different in everyone. I deep cleaned my ds/dss bedroom yesterday and tbh put my initial symptoms down to dust allergies but I've woken today feeling the same.

I don’t think you’d be offered a test with those symptoms.

Here you go...

Do you meet any of those criteria?

Should I test?

If it's easy to test or you're seeing others then you might as well.

I took DD for a test as she had a bad cold and was going to school. Tested myself too as I'm going back to work.

It's good to get the negative text message the next day.

Thanks.

No, I don't think I do meet those criteria, it's definitely my nose that's the main issue.

Will avoid seeing my dm for a couple of weeks though just in case as she has asthma. It's just so hard to tell as people seem to have all different symptoms

I've been feeling rotten for a couple of days, aching, sore throat, intermittent cough. I had a test this morning, booked online last night. DP also had one, although he has no symptoms of anything. I think you would still be offered a test, there seems to be a good supply of them now.

As an update, I had a test this morning at a drive-thru, and have just received the result by email (negative). I thought that was pretty quick.
