Postal tests-anyone done one?

Hi, my mum has symptoms and I've ordered her a postal test as the drive through test centres are quite far away. She's worried about doing the test correctly. Is it easy to do? How long do the results take? She's not been out for months but my brother visited last week. I think she might have also visited my sister and just not mentioned it. My brother and sister are both working and have visited other families, and not really stuck to the rules. Mum is 80 and vulnerable so I'm annoyed they have put her at risk and annoyed she hasn't spoken up and said no to them. No wonder she won't make a bubble with me but I digress.
The test has been dispatched already which is great.

It’s quite easy to do, with step by step instructions. It’s tricky doing the mouth part, you kind of have to hold your tongue down as the swan mustn’t touch anywhere but the tonsils!
There are priority post boxes or a courier can pick it up. Results are usually very quick.

That should say ‘Swab’ not swan!
