How fascinating is this?

The fact he was kept so long on a ventilator (I wonder how this would feel for those who lost loved ones in UK :( )
Also no deaths!

I know a nurse at a big London hospital who says we're not giving up on people too. They are staying on ventilators for a long time here also.

Yep. DH's colleague was on a ventilator for nearly two months here. His wife and kids said goodbye and turned off the machines, and he just...breathed. He's still in hospital but out of ICU now.

Hasn’t Kate Garroway’s husband been on a ventilator for something like 12 weeks? I’m not sure it’s fair to say that there is an arbitrary cut off point in the U.K.

Fwiw I think he's been off a ventilator for a few weeks now. I think he was hospitalised at the end of March. Not sure when he was ventilated though.
