Does anyone know if these handheld temperature check devices will show hot flushes as a raised temperature? Your core temperature is not raised but your skin is and that's what they are measuring. I'm concerned that widespread use could inadvertently discriminate against middle aged women. I'm getting half a dozen or more a day currently, it was worse, and they can last a while.
