I have just seen it announced by Mark Drakeford that self contained caravans and cottages can reopen from 13th July.
Mixed feelings about this as two outbreaks in N. wales at the moment, one Wrexham and one Anglesey. Will have to see what next month brings.

Typical. We had a cottage booked on 4th.

Yes I was surprised at that as originally the tourist board were telling everyone September at the earliest and with those outbreaks I imagined they'd stick to it. To be fair, self contained cottages, apartments, caravans etc. would be fine as long as thoroughly cleaned as it would be like being at home really. Many people are now more heightened to cleanliness and will likely take their own further precautions anyway.

So I can visit my mum as long as I book a holiday home? Confused Although she is shielding so I wasn’t expecting to see her before mid-August.

I would be wary of going to Anglesey at the minute anyway because of the outbreak linked to the chicken plant; people are really worried as the people who work there come from all over the island.
