I ordered an at-home Coronavirus test as I have a temperature but I have run into a problem with taking the throat swab because as soon as I put it to the back of my throat I vomited. Not just gagged but actually vomited so suddenly that I couldn't get the swab out of the way in time!
I always knew I have a sensitive gag reflex but this is ridiculous and obviously I have now spoiled the test.
If I order another one (if I am even allowed to!) does anyone know if I can just do a nose swab and whether that will provide a result? I just have visions that I will keep on ruining the bloody things and never actually be able to obtain an accurate test.
