Shielding Over By The End Of July

According to some media it is looking like shielding will be relaxed/over by the end of July.

This is just in England though isn’t it? My mum in Wales has had a letter saying she needs to shield until August 16

If true though it’s good news for those shielding in England, as long as it’ll actually be safe.

I'm waiting to see what sturgeon says. I suspect we will go with the Welsh.

If people are wanting schools back as ‘normal’ in September, I strongly suspect shielding will stop by then so all shielding staff will be able to return to schools as ’normal’.

Didn't Nicola Sturgeon say last week that people were being asked to shield until 31st July? I think that's what she said anyway, at one of the daily briefings.

People should be instructed to stop shielding only when it's safe - not when Bozo wants everyone back at work/schools open as normal.

Yes, but the latest news is saying england will stop shielding after the 31st of July.

Of course it's being presented as the UK rather than england in the media so who knows.
