Social distancing on buses next week

Hi

My dd has to return to school next week she is in year 12 and I do not own a car.

We live on inner city and sure buses will be crowded next week with retail opening .

I’m anxious to send her but her education is important - what do I do!

Buses are supposed to be only accepting a limited number of passengers to support SD. I'd let her go .

Hi

I didn’t know that but it could get her late for school?

They should understand that pupils can't travel in rush hour.

That's why people are being told to use face covers on public transport. Is she vulnerable?

Houseplantmad · 10/06/2020 20:23

Has the school said what time she is to be in? At the school I'm at the Year 12s are coming in at 1pm to avoid crowded buses. Our Y10s are coming in for 9.45pm for the same reason. Perhaps check with her Head of Year.

If public transport is anything like where we live, it is pretty quiet at the moment so should be safe.

@BackInTime

I’m inner city bang in the middle of a shopping centre which will be heaving next week.

No news yet from school about times but where I live it’s crowded all the time and be worse next week .

Why open shops same time as schools ?
