When will pre schools reopen?

They're already opening aren't they. My DC's has already opened but he's not going back till later in the year.

Our local preschools have already reopened, and as far as I can see are taking a much gentler, more pragmatic and more child-centred approach to the issue of social distancing...unlike the primary school which has issued pages and pages of rules and is giving the strong impression that it would much rather not open at all!

They're open where we are, but very part time to allow for smaller class sizes

Ours is opening on 15th June but only for children who will be starting school in September. They arent expecting children and teachers to social distance. In our preschool they're putting the kids in small groups of 5 who all do the same activity at the same time, with cleaning in between. They're also shortening the session to allow for deep cleaning between sessions. It all sounds sensible.

They've also told us they hope to open as normal in September.

Depends where you live - in England they were allowed to open from 1st June.

Keyworker children 15th and all other 29th for my DS' nursery. They've sent a very good and comprehensive risk assessment via email and what they will be doing to reduce said risks eg. parents drop off at the door, hand washing on arrival and through the day and teaching about food hygiene through nursery rhymes. Definitely happy for DS to go back on the 29th
